Performance Management Analyst

Ellos Global (E|G) is looking to fill an opening for a Performance Management (PM) Analyst.  The candidate must be a highly motivated, detailed, results-driven individual, who works collaboratively with staff of all levels throughout the organization. This person should be a creative and outside of the box strategic thinker, a team player who can cooperatively and enthusiastically switch between responsibilities at times in a moment’s notice.

The PM Analyst’s primary duty is to develop and implement initiatives, strategies, and recognition programs in collaboration with the client to ensure initiatives are in line with organizational priorities, with a focus on improving culture, morale, employee retention and engagement.



  • Create, enhance and implement initiatives such as, but not limited to; Goal creation workshops, Supervisor rating training, USA Performance Job Aids, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Manage, monitor, and facilitate inquires received via the CSD Performance Management and Awards mailboxes.

  • Manage federal performance management cycles within CSD.

  • Provide USA Performance support.

  • Prepare and report Performance Management compliance metrics.

  • Manage OTS Awards, including budget tracking and metrics reporting.

  • Manage and coordinate Performance Appraisal Awards.

  • Perform a wide range of support functions (e.g. conduct research, create and edit presentations, create and update spreadsheets, maintain project tracking).

  • Collaborate with the Federal and PM Team Lead(s) on meeting strategies and coordination of activities; pull together topics, agenda(s) and presentations.

  • Conduct regular engagements with the Federal and PM Team Lead(s) to identify pain points, communications needs, creative opportunities, and creative solutions to drive organizational change.

  • Develops and executes projects to evaluate, analyze, and improve performance management plan compliance. 

  • Provide organization wide communication of CISA guidance and best practices.

  • Conduct regular engagements with the Federal and PM Team Lead(s) to identify pain points, communications needs, creative opportunities, and creative solutions to enhance the performance management and awards process.

  • Tracking and status reporting of all initiatives on a daily and weekly basis via Spark (Maestro/JIRA) project management tool. Meeting with the Federal and PM Team Lead(s) once a week to review and walk through each initiative target dates, risk levels, development status and approvals.

Core Competencies:

  • Robust knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge of the following tools: SharePoint, Internet Explorer, JIRA and Adobe Applications.

  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.

  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff.

  • Exceptional level of written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrates proactive approaches to problem solving with strong decision-making capability.

  • Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response.

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.

MUST be a US Citizen, eligible to obtain security clearance; current DHS suitability preferred.


Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Business Administration or closely related field; or related experience or training that can be substituted for education. ​  


This position is based out of Arlington, Virginia (Ballston).
