Special Assistant

Ellos Global (E|G) is currently looking for an experienced Special Assistant is to serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to Senior Level Government Official(s); as well as, managing day-to-day operations. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Senior Leaders in various management and operational areas to support development and execution of strategic initiatives within their areas.

  • Develop executive-level memos, agendas, talking points and presentations, including coordinating across office for technical input and ensuring accuracy of deliverables.

  • Support special projects portfolio and serves as a resource on special initiatives by organizing project meetings to ensure clear agendas and action items, and fill in capacity gaps to ensure action items are completed in a timely manner.

  • Keep track of and serve as lead point of contact for items that require client's review, signature, or concurrence.

  • Serve as a right hand/ “Deputy Chief of Staff” to the Front Office Principals for all – project management tracking - ensure action items are completed in a timely manner.

  • Work with the Executive Advisors to ensure briefing materials are collected in a timely manner prior to scheduled meeting.

  • Robust knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge of the following tools: SharePoint, Internet Explorer, JIRA and Adobe Applications.

  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.

  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, and clients.

  • Exceptional level of written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.

  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response.

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.

  • Ability to be flexible and a strong team-player

  • Independent self-starter who can provide client solutions with minimal instructions

​MUST be a US Citizen, eligible to obtain security clearance; current DOE suitability preferred.

Education:​​

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; and 6-8 years related experience supporting C-Level Executives.

This position is on-site based out of Washington, D.C.
